Best neighborhood in CT!!!

We had yet another successful pickup today; we picked up 127.6 pounds of kitchen scraps. Even more houses than last week dropped off their scraps this week. We really appreciate everybody's efforts! We have nearly hit 6,000 pounds of kitchen scraps saved from landfill! With pickup time being significantly shorter due to so many of the households dropping off, we will probably be able to include more households now! 

In other news, we are looking forward to presenting a little about our project to the Zero Waste Solutions Meeting this coming Wednesday. This meeting is a collection of many environmental groups in the area looking to reduce landfill, and we hope to learn more about the environmental impact that people create daily so we can be more aware of our own actions.
