Very successful pickup! 9/5

We had a very successful pickup today! We collected 153.8 pounds of kitchen scraps. In addition, we had our first drop off day! Half of the households dropped off their kitchen scraps, and with that, our pickup time was half of what it used to be! We're extremely grateful to these households and hope more will join them if they are able to in the future. Additionally, we've noticed overall that a bunch of the reminders we've been giving, whether that be removing plastic, chopping up the food, etc, has created an impact and everyone's been making an effort to do better. The efforts are definitely noticed! 

Another note, our main pile reached 140 degrees today!
