Waste Free Greenwich Joins GCP!

We were very fortunate to have Julie and Britta from Waste Free Greenwich join us today.  Julie and Britta spent a few hours with us learning about our process and giving us some fantastic advice.  Some of their suggestions we will implement right away, other ideas will will get working on over the summer vacation.  We really enjoyed our time with them and we hope we will continue our new friendship and collaborate on future projects encouraging local composting!

Today we collected 137.4 pounds of kitchen scraps for composting. All of our piles are at over 100 degrees and one has even reached 140! All of this shows great progress and every week we are getting better! Thanks for everyone's help!
