Pumpkins!

A huge thank you goes out to Shirin Madden, who, when driving past Burning Tree Country Club, noticed they were dismantling their November decorations and discarding lots of pumpkins.  Shirin immediately thought of our project and asked to take the pumpkins to be composted by us.  Pumpkins are fantastic for composting as they break down very quickly and help with the nitrogen content of our compost.  Thank you Shirin for contributing an additional 104.4lbs of compostable material to our total this week!  If anyone else would like to get rid of their November pumpkins please let us know!
